He expressed these views speaking at a meeting of the FCCI standing committee on Electronic Instalment, here on Thursday. He said that FCCI is the apex trade body of the business community of Faisalabad and it has around one hundred standing committees on different sectors and trades. He said that these committees should encourage harmony between different trade bodies of same group.
"It will not only help FCCI but also ensure speedy resolution of their collective and genuine problems," he said, urging that the sector-specific bodies should also focus on enhancing their membership as it would also increase their internal strength.
Usman Rauf congratulated the office bearers of the Faisalabad Electronic Instalment Association. He hoped they would serve their community with a renewed vigour and sincerity. The association chairman Chaudhary Mahmood Ahmad said his association had gained fresh mandate from its members who had reposed full confidence in his leadership. He said that after this election the membership of the association had jumped to 70 while efforts were expedited to add new members dealing in this business.
Mian Ashfaq congratulated the new office bearers on behalf of Mian Muhammad Idrees of National Group and requested the FCCI to resolve their issues on top priority basis. He also asked to arrange a meeting of the standing committee with the judge of local consumer court. Shahid Mumtaz Bajwa, member executive committee FCCI, also spoke asking the new office bearers to join hands with FCCI so that their problems could be resolved without any delay.
